1940's Weekend

A busy weekend at the 1940'sweekend in Melton Mowbray,
and beautiful weather to go with it, Saturday being the better day but Sunday the rain held off until pack up time.
thanks to everyone that came and supported me and hope you had a great time with all that was going on, a  fabulous event.

I didn't get chance to take pictures of some of my makes,
the peg bags, right in my top picture just went.... all gone!!
all my bags....gone, union jack cushions and bunting...gone.
I have a big to do list now.

loving the peach fabric below, a couple of my new fabrics of which there are quite a few, all on the list for future makes and kits, keeping watching.

Union Jack Cushion and Bunting.

Getting into the spirit of the queens jubilee this year so I designed this cushion and bunting combination, just a bit of fun.

if you look closely you will see that the red fabric is actually Alice in wonderland fabric which i just love!

I have simplified the union jack a little just to stop the confusion when sewing so it works for beginners too.
the bunting is a quick and must addition to the design, we all need a bit of bunting in our lives don't we!!
this kit comes with all you need to complete the project including all fabrics, zip, wadding, bias binding, full written and photo instructions and is available from my Etsy shop, or message me.

I did two new designs for this Christmas, the first was the table centre which could be a wall hanging, a tree mat or a cushion as well as the table centre, with just a little bit of tweaking it works for all four, really enjoyed this. and loved doing some free motion quilting too not done so much recently.

the second design were this gorgeous gift bag set, adding some bling to the designs with little wooden hangers, ribbons and bells, a fun set to make and to give away or keep for years to come, could be part of your yearly decorations.

loving the fabrics from both projects, wish i had more lol
